Privacy policy
What we collect when you get a price or book, who sees it, and how to opt out.
Effective October 2, 2026
What we collect
We collect only what it takes to price, schedule and verify your lawn care.
- Your address and its location (coordinates, ZIP code and county) when you ask for a price, plus the lot size you select.
- Your name, email address and mobile number when you book, and the property details you give us: gate code, whether you have pets, and notes for the crew.
- Payment details, which go straight to Stripe. We keep only a reference to your Stripe customer record, never your card number.
- Photos of your lawn taken by the crew after each visit, so you can see the work and so we can stand behind it.
- Attribution data when you arrive from an ad: click identifiers such as fbclid, UTM campaign parameters, the page you landed on and the site that referred you. It is stored in a cookie for 90 days and copied to your quote and customer record.
- Technical data at checkout: your IP address and browser, used to report the booking to Meta and to prevent fraud.
How we use it
- To show you a price and remember it until you book.
- To schedule visits, assign a local crew and give them the address and access details.
- To send booking, reminder, completion, weather and billing messages.
- To resolve guarantee claims and keep a record of what was done.
- To measure which ads lead to bookings, so we can spend on the ones that work.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anyone else's advertising.
Advertising and the Meta Pixel
Our marketing pages load the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). It sets cookies in your browser and reports page views, address entries, prices shown and bookings to Meta, so Meta can tell us which ads worked and show our ads to people like you. When you book, our servers also send the booking event to Meta's Conversions API with your email address and phone number in hashed form, so the browser and server reports can be matched and counted once.
You can limit this through your Meta ad preferences and by blocking cookies in your browser. Blocking the Pixel does not affect your service.
Text messages
If you tick the consent box at checkout, we text you about your visits: a booking confirmation, a reminder the day before, a photo when the lawn is done, weather changes and payment problems. Message frequency depends on your plan. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and START to opt back in. We do not send marketing texts without a separate opt-in.
Who we share it with
- The contractor assigned to your lawn: your address, gate code, pets, notes and service day. Never your payment details or email.
- Stripe, to take payments and manage your plan.
- Google, to look up and verify your address.
- Twilio, to send text messages.
- Meta, for ad measurement as described above.
- Our hosting and database providers, which store the data on our behalf.
We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our crews or our customers.
How long we keep it
- Account, visit and payment records: while you are a customer and for seven years after, for tax and dispute purposes.
- Quotes that never become bookings: marked abandoned after 30 days and deleted after one year.
- Waitlist email addresses: until we open in your area or you ask us to remove you.
- Attribution cookies: 90 days. Pixel cookies follow Meta's own retention.
Your choices
You can see and update your contact and property details in your account. Email us to get a copy of your data or to have it deleted; we will do so unless we need it to meet a legal obligation. Reply STOP to end text messages. Clear your cookies to end attribution tracking.
Children
Our service is for adults who are responsible for a property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we update this page and email customers before the change takes effect.
